Driving Directions from Columbus:
1. Travel east on Broad St. (Rt. 16) to Waggoner Road – three miles east of I-270).
2. Turn left (north) on Waggoner Road to Wengert Road (1 mile)  It’s shortly after crossing the railroad tracks; immediately past a school on the left.
3. For Labyrinth parking: Turn left (west) on Wengert Road, then turn right (north) into the second driveway.

Shepherd's Corner is an ecological education center run by the Dominican Sisters who are based in Columbus, Ohio, and are part of the world wide Dominican family

Think organic gardens, free-range turkeys, chickens and sheep, greenhouses, beehives, and walking trails, as well as a full catalog of public classes and workshops.  All run by a handful of staff and loads of faithful volunteers.

They installed their Chartres-style labyrinth in 1997.  It is large: 120 feet in diameter, with a walk of 1/2 mile to reach the center (and to get back out) along 3-ft wide paths among wildflowers and grasses.  If your flight approaches from the east to land at the Columbus airport, you can look down and easily spot this substantial labyrinth from the air!
